View source for KitsNet Operations:Services:Mail:Legacy VM Based

There are two KVM guests deployed to implement Mail services in KitsNet:

* mailgw is the email gateway based on the [https://efa-project.org/ eFa Project] and hosts the external facing SMTP service that receives and sends email. This system also implements stringent anti-spam protections.
**[https://mailgw.lan.kitsnet.us/mailscanner/login.php MailWatch] supports logins for end-users as well as administrative logins
** [https://mailgw.lan.kitsnet.us:10000/ Webmin] supports certain administrative functions against the server itself. The installation is set to use Webmin-internal authentication and only one user is currently defined - see <code>/etc/webmin/miniserv.users</code>
* mailroom hosts the individual mailboxes assigned to KitsNet users, accessible through IMAP and web from anywhere in the world. Virtual user and mailbox management is hosts on this system.
** Dovecot is used to present the IMAP mailboxes to all clients
** [https://squirrelmail.org/ SquirrelMial] is used to deploy a [https://mailroom.kitsnet.us/webmail/src/login.php webmail service] for KitsNet users internal and external to the site
**[https://postfixadmin.sourceforge.io/ postfix.admin] is deployed to support [https://mailroom.kitsnet.us/postfixadmin/login.php administrative access] and [https://mailroom.kitsnet.us/postfixadmin/users/login.php end user access] to mailbox maintenance functions including password reset.
